Hello, I am Berkley Martin-Lynn.

I hail from Phenix City, Alabama, though I currently reside in Columbus, Georgia. I've been practicing photography since 2007 and haven't stopped since. As an avid outdoors woman, I've come to realize my muse lies in nature, attempting not only to preserve the natural world in all of its glory, but also romanticize it, respect it and honor it to the best of my ability.

Despite my heavily inspired nature photography, my paintings, sculptures and illustrations open another key to my heart in their abstract and child-like essence. My paintings and illustrations are almost entirely feeling-driven, to the point where I simply pick a color palette to suit my mood and my emotions take the reigns from there. As far as my sculpting goes, I often find myself hand-molding clay into tiny, whimsical creatures that present themselves to my imagination as I'm creating them. I very rarely have intent in mind when executing any of my works. My process is as simple as, "This is how I feel, let's put it to paper."

In addition to creating art, I've hosted and co-curated three events in Columbus, GA, where we successfully raised money for charities and local organizations such as Toys For Tots, The Urban League of Greater Columbus and The Gwendolyn Wilkes Rainbow Center.

My work has been featured in a short-run zine from Columbus, GA, and many of my photographic prints have found their homes across the world. From time to time I enjoy doing art giveaways online as well as leaving artworks in local downtown areas for pedestrians to take home and enjoy.
